Nancy Thomas founded Mezze Bistro + Bar in 1996, inspired by a childhood where hospitality was simply a way of life. Raised in Oklahoma City by a Moroccan mother and Oklahoman father, she grew up believing that the best conversations happen around the table and that sharing a meal is one of the simplest ways to bring people together.

That philosophy continues to guide Mezze Hospitality today. From Mezze Bistro and Mezze Events to her work supporting local agriculture, Nancy has spent nearly four decades creating places where seasonal food, thoughtful hospitality, and community come together. Her commitment to local farms and producers has helped shape the Berkshires' dining landscape while remaining true to the values that inspired Mezze from the beginning.

Nancy is the co-author of The Great Tiki Drink Book and a longtime advocate for the region's food community, serving with organizations including Berkshire Farm & Table, Berkshire Grown, Berkshire Creative, and 1Berkshire.
