Bo Peabody

Co-founder

In 1992, while a student at Williams College, Bo founded Tripod, Inc., one of the original social networks, headquartered in Williamstown. Tripod was sold to Lycos in 1998, just around the same time he joined Nancy Thomas as Co-founder of Mezze Restaurant Group.

Bo has continued his serial entrepreneurship and love of hospitality, most recently as the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Seated, a dynamic pricing platform for restaurants. Bo is also a Venture Partner at Greycroft Partners where he invests primarily in hospitality technology companies including Foodsby, Chowbus, AllSet, BlueCart/Vivino, and Tray. Bo also sits on the Board of Directors of the Boqueria Restaurant Group, which consists of eight restaurants in NYC, DC, Chicago and Nashville (coming soon).

Bo was co-founder and Managing General Partner of Village Ventures, an early stage venture firm as well as the parent company of LeverPoint, a financial services platform for venture, private equity, and real estate funds that was sold to Hamilton Lane in 2016. Bo was the Founding Chairman of Everyday Health (NYSE, sold to Ziff Davis); and he also co-founded VoodooVox (sold to UpSnap) and HealthGuru (sold to Propel Media). He has been featured in major business and consumer publications and has received numerous honors. Bo wrote a book for entrepreneurs called Lucky or Smart?, which was published by Random House in January 2005.

Bo resides in New York City with his wife Katherine and their three children.
